Lighting Africa Development Marketplace Competition Print E-mail
Since its official launch on September 7, 2007, the World Bank Group’s Lighting Africa is moving full speed ahead with its program to support the global lighting industry in bringing affordable, modern, off-grid lighting to 250 million Sub-Saharan Africans by 2030.  The Lighting Africa Business Conference and Development Marketplace Competition for Off-Grid Lighting in Africa will take place May 5-8 in Accra, Ghana.
